Ron is the Field Chief Information Security Officer for RISCPoint. He is a graduate of Webster University with a master’s degree in information technology. Ron has proudly served his country in the military since 1999 including Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve service. Ron has been doing information security since Security Technical Information Guides came in 3 ring binders. Ron has 26 years of experience in both federal and commercial information security across industries such as nuclear, defense, manufacturing, and professional services, and has had the unfortunate experience of running a help desk.

Ron maintains a range of certifications including Professional Scrum Master I, Security+, Project+, Linux+, CASP, A+, CEH, CCISO, CDPSE, CISA, and CISSP. In his free time, Ron enjoys spending time with his family, vintage video games, and competing in bodybuilding contests.
